Your rules all 3 met
- Diane & Robert kept apart
- Priya & Dev together
- Grandma June front table
The rules you’d otherwise juggle on sticky notes
Every family has them. Here they’re rules the optimizer has to satisfy, not things you have to remember while shuffling a hundred names by hand.
Mom and Dad kept apart
Divorced, and both deserve a good table.
Your college roommates together
Six of them, one table, no exceptions.
Grandpa Lou front table
Close to the dance floor, away from the speakers.
Cousin Mia and her ex kept apart
Opposite sides of the room, please.
Three steps, one evening
Paste your guest list
Straight from your spreadsheet, one name per line. Add a group like “College” or a plus-one with “Name + Name”.
Set tables and rules
How many tables, how many seats each, who must sit together, who must be kept apart, who needs the front.
Seat everyone
The optimizer tries arrangement after arrangement in your browser until every rule is met, usually in seconds.

Questions couples ask first
Is it really free to try?
Yes. Paste your list, set up tables and rules, and run the optimizer as many times as you like. You see every table before paying; $14 unlocks full names and the printable exports.
What if it can’t follow every rule?
When the numbers simply can’t work, it says so before it starts and why: a must-sit-together group bigger than any table, groups that can’t all fit your table sizes, more front-table guests than front seats, or two rules that contradict each other. Otherwise it shows its best chart and lists each rule it couldn’t meet, so you can loosen one or add a seat and run it again.
How big a wedding can it handle?
Up to 400 guests across 60 tables, with up to 30 seats per table.
RSVPs changed after I paid. Now what?
Open your private link, edit guests, tables or rules, and re-run it. Re-runs are free, as often as you need, and your link always shows the latest chart.
Is my guest list private?
The optimizer runs in your own browser. We store your draft so you can come back to it, delete unpaid drafts after 60 days without changes, and never sell your data. Email support@seatingchartplanner.com and we’ll delete yours sooner.
Do I need an account?
No. After you pay, your chart lives at a private link that we email to you. That email is all you need to come back to it.
